Blissful Bridal is looking for an experienced Contract Bridal Seamstress to join our trusted blissful team. This is an excellent opportunity for an independent seamstress or small home-based business looking to work on beautiful bridal and formal gowns on a flexible contract basis.

Position Details

  • Contract / Independent Contractor

  • Work off-site from your own studio or home business

  • Flexible schedule with weekend availability required

  • Competitive contract rates

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive experience altering high-end bridal gowns and formal wear

  • Strong hand-sewing skills

  • Experience with beadwork, lace appliqués, and delicate fabrics

  • Ability to perform bridal alterations, fittings, hems, bustle creation, bodice adjustments, sleeve modifications, and custom finishing

  • Exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship

  • Excellent time management and the ability to meet agreed-upon deadlines

  • Professional communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Several years of bridal or couture alterations experience

  • Experience working with designer wedding gowns

  • Passionate about fashion and weddings

  • Confident working one-on-one with customers

  • Professional and reliable

  • Committed to exceptional customer service

  • Reliable transportation
